Teaching

Methodology

I began my teaching journey in 2015 at the prestigious Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela, where I had the privilege of instructing a laboratory course in physics specifically designed for engineering students. The experience was incredibly rewarding, and I quickly realized my passion for guiding students towards their academic goals 🏋🏽.

During my time pursuing my PhD in Brazil, I had the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant for two undergraduate courses catering to students from various disciplines. This allowed me to engage with a diverse group of learners and tailor my lessons to their specific needs. Whether it was exam preparation, concept review, or practice exercises, I always strived to create personalized learning experiences that fostered growth and understanding ✅.

One of my strengths lies in my ability to present complex and abstract ideas in a clear, concise, and creative manner. I firmly believe that learning should be an enjoyable process, which is why I specialize in developing engaging and fun presentations for teaching. By incorporating interactive elements and real-world examples, I aim to capture students’ interest and make even the most challenging concepts accessible.

I have always known Carolina. I am a university professor and I know her performance as a teacher. She is very qualified and has a very good relationship with the people she teaches. She is a very intelligent person, capable of designing strategies to make herself better understood and thus achieve a better perception of the concepts she teaches.

Carolina really helped me with being more comfortable talking in Spanish. I am from France and I have studied Spanish at school but never managed to engage in conversations with people. She found me easy subjects or related to actualities and I managed to exchange a bit more each time. She really put the time to make interesting online presentations with funny details and it helps to put you at ease. I recommend her totally!
