I finished my Ph.D. 3 months ago and recently started a job as a French pedagogical content writer!
Daily, I write about mathematics, physics, and chemistry for teenagers between 13-18 years old. Explaining why learning these notions is relevant. Especially concerning our hobbies (music, sports, movies, and travel, among others).

The perks of télétravail: being able to work while you are on the beach @Bertioga, São Paulo.
That makes me think: we say that science and technology are present in our lives, but when you explain this to a kid, you realize how we take many things for granted.
For example, outside the academic environment, I interact with people who assume that Newton’s laws are only applied in physics courses or that only engineers use them. Nevertheless, we never reflect on how these laws are used in fashion design!
This week I was talking with a friend who, besides being a stylist and fashion designer, is a researcher. She explained to me how she used Newton’s laws to design clothes for patients with hemiplegia because the position of their body’s center of gravity is different.

If you want to check out my friend’s research, she has a book on the subject. © escrituras
Even I, a physicist, took me by surprise. Even from a more human point of view, thinking about how to adapt clothes for different body types (using science) can help give a feeling of integration for certain people.
Genuinely, we never stop learning.
